So I'm trying to figure out what will work best with my gar.. hence I posted my Q here to you guys ( the gar are the priority in the tank) ATM My 2 floridas and cuban share their tank with 2 larger spiney eels. I have 2 baby endlicheri bichir I would like to end up keeping with them ( atm they are smaller then my pinky and happily eating most my community fish in my planted tank lol), and a pair of reticulated stingrays. what problems do you guys forsea with this set-up? I know rays seem to be hit or miss with gar... since they won't all be put into the tank the gar are in now. Everyone getting moved around.. if I add the rays and eels to the tank before adding the gar do you think they may be better suited? My cuban is the one I'm worried about actually hurting anyone ( is he still going to try and establish dominance aggressively?). thus far he's more aggressive towards the floridas and won't snap at the eels even when the larger one trys to stuff his face in his ( asking for a deathwish imo...)

It may work. Id be concerned with the eels (scaleless if I remember correctly) and the rays. Also with changes in stock, gar may try to assert dominance which can be catastrophic to rays. Take it slow and be ready to seperate
I wouldn't bother with the rays as there may be issues between them and all of your current stock.
