I am building a 90 gal and am considering getting rid of some of my fish and starting over. Right now I have the fish you see in my signature, so you can include them as a start if you want, or not. I like rays, but dont think I'm ready for the work yet, so no rays. I also dont want any fish that are going to get really huge cause I already have enough of those and want to be able to keep these guys for a while (why i might want to get rid of them in the first place). The tanks dimensions are 72"x24"x12" so its got a big footprint, but is shallow. I plan on building a wet dry out of a 30 gal and getting a pump that will cycle the water about 7-10 times an hour.

So let your imaginations run wild :naughty:

I'm personally a fan of Green Terrors and Texas Cichlids

I'm tired of these 'stock my tank' threads. Get an imagination and do your research. Just my opinion. In fact-- Create!-- That's what it's all about! You'll do all right.

I apologize for that. I was tired, period, and these things sound like "Do my thinking for me" sometimes.
Anyway, you already have some cool fish but I think your original ray idea is what you should try. I don't know why they would be more work. I don't know much about them at all (having only been stung once myself), but we have expert advice available here, and from what I've read some species are easier to care for than others. Your tank dimensions sound tailored for such critters. Why not start now?
