Hey guys,

I am picking up a 90g tank tomorrow and would like some stocking suggestions. I have been looking on here but most of the threads I come across are for a 90g with the same footprint as a 75g. The dimensions of the tank I am getting is 48"x24"x18.5". What would be a good stock for this. I don't want just one fish, but would like to have a few. I have been looking into a geo community but haven't been able to find too much out. Any input or ideas are appreciated.

Thanks

you could do a CA-theme with convicts, sajicas, multispinosas and a single female JD.

Or: an acara community with a few metae, epae, and diademas.

how about an acara community? i don't think the footprint is enough for a community of geos

EDIT: damn i posted too late, but same idea - i was thinking blue acara (Aequidens pulcher) and port/black acara (Cichlasoma portalegrense)

That may work out, I do have a blue acara that is in need of a move. He harasses everything in my 60 Gallon. How many would you suggest of each?

since they don't get very large and mean, i would have 6-8 total to disperse aggression preferably with equal numbers of each

use the blue acara as a centerpiece with 4 metaes for tankmates. the metaes look really good when in breeding mode.
