I've currently got a 120 and I'm deciding what to do with some stock.

I have finally found my "dream" fish so I want to make some room and make sure they have all to room they need.

So, in all your opinions will this work?

1 JD Pair (3 inches roughly)
2 Albino O's (4-5 inches)
2 Convicts (1 inch roughly)
2 Jewels

Currently the 2 cons are living in my 14g to get some size on them.
The new Green Tex which I'm waiting on will most likely be about 1-2inches.

Now, willing to give up pretty much any fish for the Tex. But more readily willing to get rid of the JD's & the Jewels.

I love my JD's but they spend most of their time hiding...

Sound s reasonable. Good stock list

Should work. The texas will be the most aggressive of those fish so you may have to work around him/her as it gets bigger.

Good Luck.

Would this stock and the tank size work for life or am I going to have to look into an upgrade?

ditch everything and stick to a shoaling group of oscars!!!

Glad to hear this is a good stock plan :)

Was worried that it would be overstocked...

You will need to keep up your water changes since Os would produce a lot of waste as they get older. Just to give you an idea -- I used to have a pair, but now I have a single Trimac male in a 125 gallon. I change water every week.

In terms of aggression, I think Os would be mellow. I don't have any experience of keeping the texas, so I don't know how the combo will pan out aggression-wise.

Do you have extra tanks handy? If so, I would try it. If it doesn't work, you can move some of them.

Nice stock plan!!!! May have to upgrade when the Oscars, the Tex, and the JD's get some size to them but nice plan regardless
