So for my 220 I have 5 tiger silver dollars, 3 large bala sharks, 3 large tinfoil barbs a 13" pleco and a 15 tire track eel. I may have the chance to get a 12" clown knife, would this be too much? I also may be selling the pleco and eel. Just wanting opinions.

Filtration is an ehiem 2262, Fluval Fx-5 and three Aquaclear 110s with water changes twice a week.

With the filtration and the twice a week wc's you should be fine but keep in mind the Ck is going to grow huge.

Yeah I know. Those three tinfoil barbs I have now are a foot. So I'm not sure, that's going to be a full tank especially once the silver dollars get to be adults. Maybe it's better to just keep what I have and be satisfied with that.

slow growing balas and a fast growing knife may take care of some of your overcrowding issues if you are not careful

My smallest bala is 8 inches and my largest is 10 inches.

I wouldn't add a Clown knife, it will soon need a larger tank imo. If you like the knife fishes there are a few species that stay smaller.

Yeah the more I stare at the Tank and see the size of what I have in there and what has yet to grow to adulthood, I'm good with what I have.

Black ghost knife might be a better option if you want to add a knife to that setup
