I finally have my 210g up and running. I'm in the process of cycling so it is time to think seriously about my stock.

I had orginally planned on an all Mbuna tank, but I'm thinking I want a little bit of variety. Can I mix Tropheus sp and Lake Victorian with Mbuna? The Mbuna I'm considering;
Pseudotropheus polit, Pseudotropheus demasoni, Labidochromis caeruleus, Pseudotropheus Flavus , Cynotilapia afra. Lake Victoria; Paralabidochromis sauvagei, Neochromis omnicaeruleus, Astatotilapia latifasciata. Probably only one variant of Tropheus sp.

I would like a couple of larger Haps too, but I'm thinking they would cause trouble with their size and dietary needs in a herbivore tank? I will probably stay away from these guys but I thought I would throw it out there. The two I like; Dimidiochromis compressiceps, Fossorochromis rostratus.

What do you guys think? Is this a train wreck in the making or is this doable in a large tank?

I would not mix the tropheus in

Thank you for the advice. Curious why not to mix the tropheus. Do you think I'm okay with everything else? How about the big haps, should I leave them out?

Tropheus have a stricked diet...

Thanks for the help, I'm going to stick with Mbuna.
