I finally have my 210g up and running. I'm in the process of cycling so it is time to think seriously about my stock.
I had orginally planned on an all Mbuna tank, but I'm thinking I want a little bit of variety. Can I mix Tropheus sp and Lake Victorian with Mbuna? The Mbuna I'm considering; Pseudotropheus polit, Pseudotropheus demasoni, Labidochromis caeruleus, Pseudotropheus Flavus , Cynotilapia afra. Lake Victoria; Paralabidochromis sauvagei, Neochromis omnicaeruleus, Astatotilapia latifasciata. Probably only one variant of Tropheus sp.

I would like a couple of larger Haps too, but I'm thinking they would cause trouble with their size and dietary needs in a herbivore tank? I will probably stay away from these guys but I thought I would throw it out there. The two I like; Dimidiochromis compressiceps, Fossorochromis rostratus.

What do you guys think? Is this a train wreck in the making or is this doable in a large tank?
