Picked up a 30X18X24 need some stock suggestions for a species setup .. already have mixed tanks would like a heavy stock species setup or a suitable mid to large pair.

You could do the classic demasoni and yellow lab mix if you don't want too many species.
I dont know of many pair breeding cichlids from Malawi though.

That over stocked... peacocks need a bigger tank like a 55gallon...
didnt you read the headline? it IS a 55 LOL, all joke aside, thats actually a 50 breeder and those fish will get to big for the 50breeder
Not at all for a Cichlid tank they prefer crowded and when they do grow out and are ready to breed they get moved to bigger tanks or sold/traded.
