stock tank plant help

Hey just looking to get some suggestions here, always get great advice. I have a 300g stock tank above ground pond, looking to plant tall planst in the ground bordering it that will grow and kind of droop over into the pond for some cover for my turtles basking spots. Any ideas?

parrot feather (myriophyllum) would work

I dug mine in after a season above ground, to keep temp from fluctuating, both times elephant ear worked well.


I also like Mexican milkweed, as it attracts monarchs, other insects, and has very decorative flowers, I have about half the pot submerged.
