Would I be able to keep an adult Silver Arowana in a 500 gallon Stock Tank? The dimensions would be 7' long x 7' wide x 24" high. It's a circular stock tank. I know the gallons would be enough but I was wondering about the shape.
Thanks in advance.

You are aware the silver arowana are jumpers? The tank would be more then big enough, provided provisions are made to keep it in

Yeah, definitely. I was thinking of laying netting or wire over the top to protect it from jumping out as well as birds, raccoons or whatever other animals may try and eat my fish. I would most likely be keeping the stock tank outside. (I live in South Florida)

What I did with mine was just put some pond netting over the top and used squeeze clamps from home depot around the rim. Otherwise get some gallon jugs and tie them to the netting to hold it down.
