How are they diffrent to regular tanks and where would i get them.

They are metal, and you can get them at feed&seed type stores, or farm supply, or similar.

You can get a plastic composite one too at a farm store

The better ones for fish are a hard foam cored plastic, they cost a little more than the metal ones but most metal ones need a liner or they can give your fish zinc poisoning. Ace hardware carries a 300g for $200 in plastic that is sturdy enough to sit on.

Aquaticeco.com carries stock tanks in 650, 800, and 1000gal sizes. And, they can install a 24" x 24" lexan window to provide "traditional" aquarium side viewing of your fish.
