Hey everyone I was currently planning a stocking list for my 135 gallon standard 72 long 18 wide 24 height. Filtration is a fluval fx5 with a fx6 pump upgrade. My current stock so far. 2. Red tail barracuda 3.pictus catfish 1. Pearl gourami 1.gold gourami I plan to stock the following 1. One more red tail cuda 1. Synodontis angelicus. Polka dot catfish 1. Large male compressiceps alto 1.gold nugget pleco 1. Payara scomb I would like to know other opinions on these plans like potential over stocking , insufficient filtration and compatibility. Thanks for the advice!

I wouldn't call it quite overstocked, but I feel like there will be some aggression with the cudas? I'm no expert on those fish by any means but those coupled with a scomb will spell trouble in my book I would think. You need more filtration in my opinion as well. I have an FX6 on my 150 with a 75 gallon hob as well and I still feel like I'm underfiltered by a long shot. May want to add a hob or two or another can. Just my opinion however.

Scomb and cuda I know make great tank mates. We're my experience falls short would be more towards the Synodontis and compressicep. I have 0 ppm ammonia and 0 ppm nitrite but yet again I only have 7 fish as of yet. I am pretty religious about clean water and I do water changes 20-30% every 5 days like clockwork. I was how ever thinking of a fluval 406 that would be dedicated towards bio and carbon while keeping the fx6 strictly sponges.

I think I would be worried about the compressicep being aggressive
