stocking 150gal

wanting to stock with severums and maybe snook that was the plan anyways. does anyone have any suggestions on what else to stock with severums and how many could live happily in a tank that size? and would small or large spot madagascar cichlids work with severums?
 
I think snooks would destroy the sevs. I would not mix the Africans with the sevs either. You could heavily plant it and do some more mellow fish with the sevs, rams, discus, chocolates, parrots, nice pleco, the list goes on....
 
Paratilapia are compatible pretty much with a severum being that the tank is 150 gallons. I'm not sure the bay snook would be that aggressive towards the severum though, but the snook do limit the amount of fish in the tank, and severums being pretty peaceful allow you to have many stocking options
 
I've always wanted to try Uarus with Severums. I believe uarus are pretty peaceful...
 
I wouldn't mix Discus with them. They will get pushed aside when it's feeding time.
 
what else can mix with snook or sevs? its gonna be one or the other and some other tank mates and has anyone ever found an online site for natural colored snook?
 
two more questions would clown loaches or i know odd set up but what about archers with either?
 
i got 3 sevs in my 150 and they are ruthless. i wouldnt worry bout putting anything with them unless they were killers. maybe its just my sevs but they would tear discuss and any peacefull fish up. theyre in with a 16" spotted gar, 16"silver aro, 16"clownknife, 15" gibby pleco, 7" blood parrot. obviously these fish cant stay in a 150 for life but a few sevs and 1 or 2 other larger fish can.
