i want to get a 20gallon in the corener of my livingroom for my mom. i was thinking electric yellow/blue cichlids, (she loves the color of these fish) but do they get to big for a 20?
if i got thoes i would like to have possibly 4, 2 yellow and 2 blue.
any suggestion?

That might work for a litttle while if it's a 20 long and the fish are quite young. These fish do get to some medium size and aggression levels, so you may want to plan a bigger tank to move them into when they get too big and aggressive, or trade them back. Sounds like a colorful combonation, but I think those 4 will want a larger tank sooner rather than later.

The electric yellow is not as aggressive as some of the african cichlids I have kept. It should work as long as you put a lot of rockwork in the tank. The electric blue's size as an adult is bigger than the electric yellow. You should be fine for a while. Good luck!
