fish:
1. Firemouth Cichlid (if i can even find any to buy near seattle, as of right now i cant)
2. Peacock eel
3. Rubber lip pleco
4. brown knife
5. leopard ctenopoma

decor:
1. lots of driftwood.
2. a few standard live plants with hopefully some sort of grass java fern or moss type plant
3. sand substrate.
4. black background (to enhance fish coloration it seems)

filter:
Really not sure what type of filter to get, not lookin to get anythin to expensive. I also am very good about water changes and tank maintenance if i get a filter on the cheaper side.

To much for a 30g imo, unless you have a high gph rate....other than that sounds ok to me...

i agree that is far too overstocked and the inhabitants wont all get along. brown knife gets too big for a 30g so take that off your list, leaf fish i guess would be ok, i doubt the peacock eel would do well with the rest, rubberlip pleco is good, and firemouth should be ok but you probably want a 55g

Yh a 55gal would be fine for those fish :D....

cool thx! so if i cant find a firemouth would that stock be ok?

1. rubberlip pleco
2. leopard ctenopoma
3. peacock eel
4. african knife

ive researched these fish on end and in my opinon they seem to do fine together. w

hey this i just from what i've seen but if you get a fire mouth around 3'' it will mess with your eel.

well i dont think im going to get a firemouth considering i cant find any in the Seattle Area. But i know for sure i want my peacock eel/ my pleco/ and a future ctenopoma
