Stocking 46 bow

I know someone who just started up a 46 gal bowfront. He is a newbie to fish, and says he wants something aggressive, but not africans. It either needs to be able to live in that tank for life, or have a slow growth rate so he doesn't have to buy a bigger tank right away. Any good ideas?

Exodon Paradoxis...AKA Bucktoot tetras...........fast, aggressive, colorful fish that hardly ever hide or rest...........get 12 - 18 Exos in the 46 bow , with a few fake plants, maybe a nice piece of D/W, blk gravel and your set!!!!!

P.S. my exos are my fav fish that i keep!!!
