any ideas on stocking my little 7" cube tank, unfortunately our old man betta niel died today. if not another betta what interactive species could be kept, I thought about shrimp too although not interactive quite interesting. any breeding pairs of cichlid I could do or maybe killifish, would like pics with suggested stocks please.

also like to add the tank is filtered, heated and lit, also has a huge pothos plant growing out of it...
I like gobys too, maybe I could do a nano community in there or and mini predators pea puffers maybe?
if no I will just get another betta...

Don't know about tiny cichlids, pea puffers is a bit risky due to keeping conditions pristine in that small a tank.
I was in Maidenhead Aquatics and seen an awesome nano shrimp set-up, made me really appreciate them for once; before I'd never even have considered them. They get my vote lol
Shrimp are very cool to watch. I would suggest maybe snails but you would have to watch them closely...and pick the species wisely...
