Hey guys i need your opinions. I'm getting a 125g to move my 2 Oscars and ornate bicher to, but in order to do so i need to get rid of my 55g and 75g. my question is can i keep a pike cichlid with then or does he have to go too?

If there are no aggression issues, it should work assuming good filtration/water quality

Okay I'm going to give it a shot, filtration will be a xp4, emperor 400 and an aqua top cf400

I always roll with sand. However, would be safer to go with gravel so that there is no risk of your fish spitting sand into the filter intake and messing up the motor.

either will be fine,,, but if you go sand use some kind of pre-filter for any hob's

I'm sure someone will come in to claim that's overstocked, and it's entirely possible you'll end up with aggression issues, but it's equally possible they'll be fine. I do think you should expect needing to do huge or multiple WC every week. Is that everything going in, or just the 'big/mean guys'?

I believe its a johanna pike, and yeah the pike, oscars and ornate will be all that's in there.
