Stocking a 125

I've been keeping fish for about 10 years but always just small community type fish. I recently picked up a 125 and want to try something a little more exotic. Something larger and more aggressive. I was told to come to this site as people here are very knowledgable and could help.

If you want to keep cichlids, you need to figure out if you want south or central american, new age or africans.

If you want africans then you have to figure out if you want peacocks, haps or mbuna and determine what lake you want the from (malawi, victoria, tanganyika).

Do your research.

I think I like the looks of the New World stuff more than I do the African stuff.

After looking up Red Devils I'm not a fan. Reminds me of a giant goldfish. I at least want something unique.

Looked up some fish called Eartheaters. Not only are they beautiful they have amazing finnage. Very graceful and delicate looking. I think I'll head over to the South American forum and see what they can tell me about these fish.
