Hey guys
I've FINALLY got my 135gal up on my stand and filled. Driftwood, rocks, and (fake) plants will be going in this week, along with seeded media from the other tanks in my house.

However, I've run into a problem and have begun looking for some suggestions.
I was dead-set on stocking it with Senegalus and Delhezi Bichirs, but I CANNOT find them anywhere within an 8hr drive of me. No joke.

So I'm kind of at a loss for what to do now. I never thought up any alternatives because I was so set on the Bichirs. I'm looking at a 4+ hr drive to pickup fish so I need to get an idea of what I want to look for.

With that said, any suggestions for stocking?
I already have a goldfish tank and a community tank, and I'm not interested in doing Discus. Or anything too delicate, for that matter. My work is very unpredictable and I'm often called on 72hr shifts with only a few hours notice so it can really screw me up for water changes.
Tank is 72x18x24 with an Fx6.

Buy what you want. I just bought some Malawian cichlids from Imperial Tropicals on eBay and was very happy with their quality of the fish and packaging. If you look around you should be able to find a reliable source for your bichirs.

I haven't really been able to find anywhere online. Anything I have found, is very outdated/not longer kept current or they don't carry Bichirs.
As for looking around to find a source, I've contacted anyone and everyone I've been able to between my location and Toronto. I've even contacted other Bichir owners and the general concensus seems to be that they haven't been able to find any for sale within the last year or so.

I do plan on just buying what I want, however I'm just looking for suggestions of fish that I may not have heard of before. I have a very, very small PetValu for my LFS and their availability is far from vast. And when I punch into google 'fish for 135gal' it's a little haywire lol
