Hey everyone, I'm planning on upgrading from my 75 gal. to a 180 gallon tank. I've been looking for some awesome fish to fill this tank with, but I want to make sure I'm not going to overstock it. I also don't want any conflicts such as fighting or territory. My current setup includes 1 florida gar, 1 red shoulder severum, and 1 orange tiger Oscar. So I'm wondering if this is a good list of fish to put with them in the new tank:

1 Lima Shovelnose Catfish
1-2 Red severums
1-4 Electric Yellow Chiclids

Feel free to suggest other fish to add or take away due to overstocking. Please let me know if there are any cool fish that would go great with these guys, thanks!

180 Gallons is the minimum size I'd put a Lima Catfish in. How big is the one you are planning on getting ? also what type of filtration will you be using -J

Not quite decided on the size for the Lima let, I might raise one in my 75 gallon until he is big enough to go with the rest of the fish, or buy a larger one, not quite sure. And what do you mean by "what kind of filtration?"? Like pipe filters or ones that plug into he wall? Sorry those probably aren't the correct terms.

I would skip on the electric yellow if they are african. Different water parameters.

Are you using a canister filter? HOB filters (hang on back), a sump? what kind of filtration will you be running in that regards.
