so i finnaly got my tank last weekend, its a simple 20 gallon.
in my small tank that i have right now i have 2 pictus cats, 1 dempsy, 1 common plec, and one grass pike.
im going to move them into the 20 as i get a stand and set it up.

i want to get 2 yellow labs and maby one more dempsy for the tank but will this be to much?

full grown 1 pictus cat or 1 jack is to much the two labs would be fine

unless you got a 55 + laying around full grown jacks are 10+ inches

The Jack Dempsey alone needs more then a 20 gallon. As said above the 2 yellow labs would be fine in the 20 and maybe even one pictus cat but that would still be a little over. Good Luck

No way what you have now is already too much for a 20 gallon you better look for a 55 gallon to put what you want in. You can find 55's pretty cheap.

I disagree, with the way aggression works with mbuna, I wouldn't have 2 in a 20 gallon tank, I would get a bigger tank where I can have more.
