I have a 220 gallon tank I was planning on changing it up.
What would your fish list be for that size tank?
I need some ideas.
Cichlids is a must, and what other dithers and bottom feeders you would stock it with.

I am really liking EBJD, Geo.Jurapari, Salveii, Frontosa, Gulper Cats, Flagtails, Archer and Leaf fish....if it were my tank, I would stock with anything I could afford and everything I could not afford to do without!

I'm not looking for someones want list of fish that won't work together, I'm looking for some ideas on how to actually stock the tank. It now has 3 midas and 2 channel cats, but now its time to do something else. Looking to stock it with more fish this time. maybe something like silver dollars, chocolate cichlids, clown loaches, and I don't know. Looking for ideas of fish people have kept with cichlids in a tank this size.

Excuse the hell out of me! Fill the tank with frickn dirt for all I care!
WHY NOT DO A LITTLE RESEARCH ON YOUR OWN InSTEAD OF TRYING TO GET OTHERS TO DO IT FOR YOU!!
You asked for cichlids, well that narrows it down. All the fish I mentioned, I have, at one time or another kept. I dont own a tank smaller than 210, and I have them all with varied stock and they are all kept together...except for the goldfish...nobody likes them but me. "wish list that wont work together" ???? WTF?? Do you expect to put other fish with those channel cats and "grow" them out or are you gonna buy adult specimens? Are you looking for a peaceful community, or are you going to feed these fish to those midas? Again, juvinile or adult? Do you like C.A,S.A, African, Amazonian?
Right now I have all four regions represented in a tank together, along with a three spine toadfish, a plain pleco, a very large sailfin pleco and a botia loach. The toadfish is supossed to be brackish and the Botia should be dead. All are happy and healthy, but its never a dull moment in front of that tank! I keep goldfish with plecos. The plecos I have with them need warmer water than the goldfish are supposed to be kept in so as a result, I have 8" comet goldfish, a whole school of them and a bunch of gold mystery snails, all playing together with wild caught 8" crayfish(plural).
With the obvious exception of the archers and leaf fish, all those fish I mentioned originally have been kept together successfuly, however, people will debate this to infinity and beyond, but judging by the lack of responses to this post, people are tired of threads like this.:irked:

That might not have been what you were looking for, but it is what you asked for. You asked what our fish list would be for a like sized tank. That it what he gave you.

I would go with a mix of the smaller guapotes i.e Freddies, loisellei, motaguense. I would go all male to prevent breeding and reduce aggression.
