Tank is 80 x 26 x 28 inches

Thinking of
20 demasoni
10 Mpanga
50 yellow labs

Since the tank is quite tall, thinking of adding 10 ob peacocks, will they get obliterated ?

yes its a large tank, but you'll still be hard pressed to get the right male/female ration correct with those amounts unless you buy mature known sexed fish.

Pseudotropheus Elongatus from my quick search can be extremely aggressive when large. Bad news for the peacocks. And they may breed with your yellow labs. Not sure what a yellow king is, I assume a variant of the yellow lab?

Yellow king, looks like a yellow lab without the black stripe...

Probably lab/zebra hybrids. These are pretty common and make an all yellow fish. I would look for another pure species instead. I would also decide if you want peacocks or mbuna, the only mbuna the normally work with peacocks are labs and acei.

Peacocks hybridize with each other and ahli (really fryeri). I would not put them in the same tank. Also agree to lose the mbuna.

The mbuna are going to spend most of their time, in that rock pile. I think your peacocks will be fine. If their colors are different. Even so I don't think a mbuna would chase one that far in a 250 gallon tank.

That was i was thinking, the tank is 28 tall, so I think the peacocks will be on the upper part of the tank which is out sight of the mbunas
