Hello, I am new to this forum but not to fishkeeping. I am in the process of setting up a central american cichlid tank. I am very fond aggressive cichlids ie wolf, jaguar. I am wondering if there is a decent setup that could incorporate one of these species and any other type of ca or sa fish? I understand anything could be killed/eaten but I want to see if anybody has had success with a nice "ecosystem" . I'd like a fairly interesting tank not just a 260 gallon species tank with one fish in it. I'm sorry if this has been asked a ton but I need to get some posts in somehow. :D Thanks

I would stock it with hrps, texas, jack dempsey, jaguars etc. I would try and get all different CA cichlids

I'm curious on them getting along in a bigger tank, most people on forums have a 55 or 75 gallon tank. If I plant it and put a ton of rock/driftwood hiding places, would that be enough to create territories that they could coexist.

The guy you see in my avatar was always trying to kill everyone in a 200 gallon tank. Of course 260 is even bigger, but just saying it can still go wrong.
I'd still get a Midas, Trimac, Jaguar and 1 other Parachromis for that tank though.
