Currently I have a large angelfish, a dwarf blue gourami, 6 platies, 7 male guppies, a white skirt tetra, and a rosy head minnow. They are the remaining fish from a larger community tank (55 gallon) that I started almost 3 years ago and phased into a cichlid tank. All the fish are going strong, even the single minnow and tetra. They just kind of school with the other fish. I am wondering if I could add anymore fish to this tank. What would be some cheap options? Is it already over crowded?

Thanks!

all that in a 29 gallon, and somone commented by saying add more, the Angel has to go, does he just swim in a cicle,?? is it a 29Long?in a 29 long, id drop the angel and add cories. if it is a standerd 29, id drop angel and reduce the platies. my platys use every bit of my 75, if a normal 29, id say let ther DG be the centerpiece, with guppies and cories, maybe 4 platys, 1 male and 3 females. then that should be good

try breeding convict cichlids.......empty the whole tank and buy a pair.........

the angel will be fine in a 29 and the rest of that stock ...will not overcrowd the tank.....he(mr. mopani) might be right about adding more though ...
