i know, i know, hex's are horrible tanks generally. bought it 2 years ago for $125 with stand, xp4, and quite a few other things. so i wanna set it up now this weekend in the new apt im sharing with my new girl (and this one dont care i have a fish-keeping addiction:popcorn::headbang2)

what exactly you guys think would be good for life in there??? all i could come up with was maybe 3-4 rams and some tetras or something, with a few cory's for the bottom.

i know theres gotta be other fish that would work, arent there???

any fish from the apistolgamma family, i think the biggest one is 3''? not 100% sure.

Apistos and pike!!!

I was thinking angels too, which you could probably still do the rams.. Maybe some tall plants in the middle.

ive never kept angels before. they would like having the height of the tank?? how many would be good in that kind of tank?

i know the blue rams would be ok, a long as they stay unstressed and have some spots to hide in the tank. but going to go look into some other apisto's as well.

bottom dwellers...any cats aside form cory and raphaels that would be happy in there for life??

what about bristlenose plecs

plecos i dident think would be good since angels have that flat profile that plecs would just love to attach onto and eat some slime coating
