Stocking a 60 gal need help!

Hi guys I am trying to figure out how to stock my sixty gal I already have an African featherfin cat' in the tank hes about 2.5 inches at the moment(still small) but I want to get maybe 2 rope fish and 3 firemouths is that going to work out?

Rope fish get pretty big, but that should be fine just big enough but certainly no more!, hmmm the firemouths are tricky IMO, I had 1 with a oscar, green terror, blue acara, and festive and he was by far the most aggro in tank, but I'm sure people will say there's are 'peaceful' they are beautiful fish tho. Now with '3' that would be bad because if 2 mated of they would harass and kill the others along with everything else in the tank! Either get 1 or 5 to help share the aggressiveness between themselves, do you like any other SA cichlids?

Ive never kept ropes but others say 3 is the minimum. One more rope isnt going to brealk the tank so you should be fine

okay how about same numbers but switch the firemouths with mabye blue acaras?

Blue acara can pack quite the punch when it suits them where firemouths are more flaring. Ropefish would probably be safer with the firemouth

Personally kept a Firemouth with a group of Senegal Bichir. The Firemouth would nudge the Polys sometimes. It will be a risk with most Cichlids imo.
