Stocking advice

I have a 120 gallon with a wc Green Severum (5 in), Jack Dempsey (3.5 in), Satanoperca Jurupari (5 in), 5 Clown Loaches (2.5 in - 7in), and 3 yellowfin congo tetras.

I was thinking about getting either a thread-fin acara, a blue acara or maybe even a Red Severum for this tank. If I take the Congo tetras out, would I be able to stock another fish? Or would this be pushing it?

Filtration is one Rena XP3 and a Magnum 350.

pretty sure the Congo Tetras are going to get eaten.... you have a smaller tank they can move in when the other fish get bigger?

Yeah I have another tank I can put them in. If I end up getting another fish I will probably tank the congos out anyways

You could also try a firemouth, green severum, or maybe even a green terror

Had a firemouth in there but he was crazy aggressive. I already have one green severum. You dont think a green terror would be too aggressive in this tank?

Well, each fish is different. I have a green terror, gold severum, and firemouth in the same tank. no problems.



The only one whose a problem is the black convict, hes always chasing them
