So I just recently got two little redeye puffers, and one redeye red belly puffer in my 90 gal aquarium. Just wondering about what other types of fish potentially I would be able to add. I know about puffers as I own a couple of other species as well, so I know then tend to nip fins ect. just trying to think of something that could go in there as well.

Got pictures of which species of Red Eyes you got exactly??? coz depending on how large they will potentially get once fully grown will also dictate what sort of tank mates (if any) you should/could put in with them...

Most FW puffers are extremely mean, vicious biters & should be kept in species only tanks.

Two redeye puffers that will max around 4", and one Redeye Redbelly puffer max around 5". I have seen people with Tetras in with them, as long as the tank gives them enough room they are not too bad. I have them in a 90, so they have plenty of room

Kevin, I don't know where you're getting those measurements. The species pictured above will grow to about 2". I believe it's a female Carinotetraodon irrubesco: http://www.**************.com/forum/ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Freshwater/C_Irrubesco/

If you are absolutely determined to throw in tankmates, just make sure they are very very fast fish and you MAY find it will work, although even then theres a good chance there will be a few accidents...

Oh and i would take PufferPunks advice, since shes been in this hobby for much longer than me and is far more knowledgeable with puffers and fish in general...

I would go with the above advice, if you are determined to try it, it also will depend on the tank layout (how well decorated etc) to help with survival rates and escape routes though this will not stop some problems happening.
