Stocking an indoor pond.

Alright guys... I am really struggling on what route I want to go stocking my pond.... I am in the planning process.. preparing for the build but what I get will make differences in the build. the plan is 10x4x3


I am really torn between rays and gars.....

SA / CA cichlids...

peacock bass

redtail cat

I wish I could have them ALL but I know it will not work. Let me know what you guys think... and possibly other ideas for the pond.

I would get some quality rays and try your hand at breeding them, look good from above the water and are personable

I am leaning very heavily towards rays I just really want something cool to go with them..... besides arowana.

Lima shovel nose catfish don't get as big as tiger shovel nose and have a great personality

Im not worried about the size.... going to put these fish in a 4x10 pond. I am just looking for compatible tank mates.

Rays are really nice in a pond . I wouldn't suggest gars with them though. My cubans gars were nipping up a motoro stingray that was far to large for them to eat.

If you are also interesting in peacock bass why don't you put those with the rays.
