stocking british natives pond

i got got a new pond .

its about 750 gal , and my old pond runs into it . the old pond is 250 gal and full of plants and i just finished building a new filter . there is a few goldfish in it and a couple of rudd but i was wondering what british natives i could put in it

has anyone ever kept any type of trout in a tank or pond.
 
go for perch, my dad had one when he was a kid with koi and goldfish ect and it was realy personal and let him pat it and hand feed. when i get back from holiday iam catching a baby-ish perch and quarantine it and then putting it with my cichlids
 
A few perch would be killer! If you can find them chub would get to a nice size, although they are quite dark from above.
