I have a 6' long 125g with the following( sand substrate with driftwood and large cobblestones as decoration, no plants or plastic plants)
1 6" Gold Severum
1 4" Green Severum
3 4"Angelfish
5 3-4" Clown Loaches
1 8" Pleco
9 2.5" Rosey Barbs
12 2" Red tail rasboras
8 1.5" Lamp eye tetras
7 2" Black Skirt Tetras
2 3.5" killifish
2 3" Firemouth Cichlids
1 7" Geophagus Jurapari
The tank is very peaceful. The small fish school tightly for safety. The FM's chase each other a little bit. The Gold severum rules the tank and will some times move the green severum out of his way but no fighting. The tank is well filtered with 2 Fluval 405 cannisters and 60% water change weekly. Nitrate stays between 20-30 range. I am suprised that the rasboras did so well. I wanted a schooling fish and they leave the little guys alone. I am prepared to move the FM's if they get aggressive. I bought them as juvies after the other fish were established. As they have grown they move around the loaches a bit. Do FM's and clown loaches usually work?
