Stocking Dilemma

I have a motley crew of tanks. The fish were rescued by the SPCA and have managed to make it in to my care. I have a five inch cichlid, a seven inch Bichir and a five inch pleco. I would like to stock the tank but I am unsure as to what types and sizes of fish i can put in their 75 gal aquarium.

They had a very large catfish with them but he didn't make it. I would like another one.

I have been told anything from get similar sized cichlids to nothing what so ever. I'd love to hear your thoughts. Thank you,

It would help if you could post pics or tell us what kind of cichlid you have. Some cichlids do not play well with others...

might want to be careful of the big catfish because it could eat everything else depending on what kind it is.
