Stocking for 640gal?

there will definately be a jag and maybe a festae (i heard they can coexist in tanks this size but please correct me if im wrong).

Im leaning toward central and south american cichlids.

bocourti ,they get a nice size and also synsplilums best color when grown in my opinion.

yeah you could def do a festae in that tank (though i would stay away from a pair) you could also do haitiensis, cuban, carpintis, cyano. do you want to have a bunch of fish under a foot with just a couple over that, or fewer fish that all get over a foot?

Umm... salvinis, and a blackbelt would be a great contrast to your jag and festea. Just my opinion. There is a lot you can do with a tank that size.

Im not shure which route i want, i like bigger fish but a few bigger fish with more smaller ones might make the aquarium look more full.

Another example would be terd ferguson's big 350gallon. He has a bunch of fish in there. Lot of parachromis though
