i was gonna get a 55 for my 2 puffers until i get the full sized 100+ tank for them. after theyre out of it i need to stock the 55. i want freshwater fish. id like a clown knifefish and maybe some other smaller ones. any suggestions? this isnt definite yet but i think its pretty close. thanks

just to say i have no idea about what knifefish need as far as size of the tank. i just know about puffers and what not. if im entirely wrong just suggest something else. and id prefer something more monsterous than cichlids. so sorry to cichlid fans but not for this tank. thanks
clown knife would be too big, I'd go with one of the smaller knives, or maybe a mixed SA/CA cichlid tank, with smaller species, Cryptoheros, Thorichthys,etc.
ive decided a black ghost knife would be nice. maybe some South American Leaf Fish with it to kind of make an attractive look to the tank. if this sounds good then great ill do it but if it might not work please, Let Me Know! thanks
south american leaf fish are awesome fish, but they usually are very hard to get to eat anything other than live fish

what would be a good algae cleaner for a tank like this? a catfish from the same region would be nice. any suggestions will be considered. thanks
so stocking so far is a black ghost knife, 3 or 4 South American Leaf Fish, and i think a Synodontis schoutedeni "Yellow Marbled Synodontis" for algae might be good. does that sound good?
