Stocking for my 75 gallon

So far for my 75 gallon I have decided on

1 albino senegal bichir
1 delhezi bichir
10-14 peacock cichlids

Filter: fx6 with 2 sponge filters

Wow. I know nothing about bichirs other than they need a larger tank and different water parameters. 12 male peacocks by themselves would overcrowd this tank to a good level for managing aggression while still giving them room for some natural behavior. Choose peacocks that look as different as possible.

The species I picked are the smaller ones that could live in a 75

That is over stocked. You would have to target feed the birchers, peacocks would out compete for food. Peacocks should get to 5 inches as adults.

Yes, maybe 4 or 5. You will need frequent water changes.

The problem with 4 or 5 is the aggression peacock cichlids do better in overstocked aquariums

If it's male only I think you'll be ok. If they are competing for females then you would have issues.

You can always overstock if you're willing to keep up with the maintenance.
