alright so i decided to fix this thread since the last one ended up on a different topic then the original question which made it confusing. i got the first stuff figured out so heres the rest: this is my ideal stock list:

1x silver aro
1x florida gar
2x pbass
1x lima shovelnose
3x bichirs

I need help with ideas for replacing the pbass if they aren't going to be available to me which i doubt they will be. I'm pretty open to either strictly middle of the tank or most of the time middle of the tank fish. active would be nice but not a must. not a huge fan of most types of cichlids so their out.

like 10 silver dollars have been suggested to school and be active but ive been warned about them with my 4x strip t5 light. .. anymore ideas, big or small fish would be great. as long as they get along with my stock list.

oh, and the tank is a 225 gallon (72" x 24"w x 30"). what you guys got!

got the tank up and on the stand today .. closer and closer to being done. seeing it painted, cleaned, and up on the stand has me excited. i know its getting close now!!!

anyways .. the stock question

wats your filtration like?

running a 50 gal wet dry .. sterilite type .. mechanical compartment .. bio and then another half bio half crushed coral .. and a mag drive 9.5 pumping it back in .. two drains and two returns ..

the crushed coral is gonna buffer the water to 7.8 just an FYI

If your up for a challenge you can try a stingray id say start with a motoro they do get large but there way easier to acclimate and take car of
if not a pbass go with a Datnoid or Oscars
you should be able to find someone on here who ships or mayb somone close to you to get some good prices there always cheaper here then in a store

sorry if that didn't help
