Ok folks need some help. I have a 125 with sev, chocolate and 2 acarichthys heckelii. Although I have enjoyed watching them grow I have become bored of late with the absence of movement. So, suggestion to get more action in the tank. I am willing to part with everyone except the chocolate if need be.
Filtration is 4 aquaclear 500, no plants and several lg pieces of driftwood. I am not shy about trying anything!
Let's hear what you think!!
Thanks

My silver dollars are always moving, geophagus are pretty active as well.

The smaller silver dollars would be nice. The wide bars, iirc, would be far too big. You would need 5-6 in either case, which is why you want to make sure it's the smaller ones.

I have thought of silver dollars in the past and never got any. Thoughts on Congo tetras? Thinking I need to go larger tetras and such because of the severum. How many?

I would think congos would be eaten, but i may be wrong.

Congo's, Dennisons, rainbows or Bala sharks would work well. My sevs never bothered my Congo tetras but of course that depends how big the cichlids are. Might need to grow out the Congo's first.

The severum is close to 10-11 in and the chocolate is just a little smaller. I really like the look of Congos, how many you think?

In a 125 I would get 8-10. The males are gorgeous. The females are a bit drab but if you get a mix of males and females you'll see spawning activity.
