Hi was wondering what you guys thought of adding another cichlid to my current setup... 55 gal, established, slightly over-filtered, with an EBJD (just getting around 2 1/2 inch - TL) Blue acara about 3 1/2 inch (TL), 5 yoyo loaches, and 10 zebra danios. what do you think about adding a firemouth to the mix or other dithers? or would that be pushing my luck???

I personally wouldn't add nothing to that tank. Once the ebjd and blue Acara reach close to adult they will start picking off any weak links. Besides that tank is already near being overstocked

to be honest I think I'll leave it as is, attached to the yoyo's, the danio's add movement, and seem quick enough to avoid becoming lunch (for the time being). I'll hold out for the next tank methinks, struck a deal with the mrs a long time ago... she gets an extension for the dining room and I get an 8ft tank! just need planning (and some money now!)
