Stocking ideas, 60 gal Hex

Scored a nice acrylic Hex tank off Craigs List for $40 It's not a monster tank, but could not pass it up, included stand. I've always wanted African cichlids, always had SA's. Any suggestions?

i would recommend mbuna for a hex tank reason being they stay relativly small, can be incredibly active, and prefer a lot of rockwork. Build a huge rock structure with a lot of nooks in the middle of the tank and you could probably get about 15-20 or so mbuna in there. word of caution. just because they are small doesnt mean they are gently. most of them are so aggressive i cant keep them with my malawi haplochromines.
