I have a 150 Gal that I am currently stocking... I already have a 2" Fahaka puffer, a 3" Banded Leporinus, a 1.5" L128 Blue Phantom Pleco, and a 3" RTC

I would like to add a Hi-fin banded shark but the one I experimented with was from a "bad batch" and it died 10 hours after being introduced into the tank... but the other 2 that the LFS had also died that same day.

They are getting more in tomorrow and wondered if I should attempt to get another one or if I should just leave it at what I have

The Fahaka and RTC are already gonna outgrow that tank fairly quickly, if i were you unless you have a massive tank set up for em i'd just go ahead and get rid of em while they're small and start stocking from there, once they get massive it'll be tough to rehome them if you don't have a plan

My LFS will take the RTC once it outgrows the tank... They specialize in big fish and have a TON of RTC fanatics there... i spoke with the LFS people and they have an MBU puffer... they gave me tips on how to keep it small but healthy... so its an experiment

fair enough, well then i guess just make sure whatever you get is big enough to not become an RTC snack and hope for the best lol, stick away from slender fish like bichirs and eels because they're easier for the RTC to eat

Thank you... I guess lucky for the birchirs im not a fan of them lol... and Ive had eels in the past... i prefer fish that are in sight when the lights are on lol

seems like a good quality little store

Its pretty good... theyre really into their customers too... if you want any fish theyll try their hardest to get it by their next shipment... and its always for a good price too
