So my buddy is looking at getting a new 75 gallon set up and he knows for certain he wants one jaguar cichlid. My thoughts were that one jaguar in a 75g would probably be all you would want in there, but does anyone have any ideas of any other fish that could go in there as well? Thanks for the ideas!

There really is nothing else you can get in there with that fish, a 90 gallon would be even better for that fish alone. In his 75g, he can add some dither fish in there while the Jag is a juvenile, but when he gets big enough, they will be eaten obviously.

I kept a male jag in a 75 for a few yrs and like what was said above only when young after that everything dies...unless you get a female jag,then you might be able to put a convict or somthing like that in there,but male no way.
