Stocking ideas for a 125g fish tank?

I haven't been in the aquarium game for a year now, and I'm thinking about getting back in. I want stocking ideas of big cichlids/ obscure fish. I really love having all sorts of aquarium life in my fish tank that aren't traditional fish.
 
Second thread I have thrown this out there on in the last 5 minutes... GO WITH BROOK TROUT, or whatever salmonid is local to your area, and through in an assemblage of smaller species to complete the tank... I have found that to be the most obscure class, given that I cannot find anyone else currently stocking them...

Hmm yeah a native tank could be interesting
 
Bichirs, bichirs, bichirs, lol

A few upper jaws ( dehelzi, senegal, gold dust, retro just to name a few lol) would be really cool with some larger dithers or a mild mannered cichlid like a chocolate
