Hey Guys !

I have re-homed a lot of my stock and therefore i am looking for some new fish. Is there anything that u can think of that is not a chiclid, and is reasonably active as well as interesting to look at. My tank is pretty docile and therefore anything that is overally agressive would not go well. Also i dont want anything over 24 inches, because i will have my arowana in there soon and dont want to have a huge bioload. :nilly:

Thanks so much for your suggestions in advance ! :grinno:

Clown loaches and a flagtail.

You can see how the look with arowana in a 450g tank, by clicking the link at the bottom of my signature.

the aro will prob eat everything under 12 inch as it grows so i think clown loach are out unless massive as they grow very slowly!-) flagtails grow slowly so would need to be large, love them tho.
maybe a shoul of black barred dollars aka black barred pacu if big enough, they can get 16inch and chunky? giant gourami, some nice catfish... loving my cats atm... big spiny eel (tiretrack or fire) or mbu puffer, royal clown knife, good luck.

Obviously you didn't watch the video.

yea, im really liking these suggestions, atm i have 2 clown knives one gold one normal, also a cigar shark and tinfoil barb, so some flagtails should school well with them. I also really enjoy the look of clown loaches, but im worried that the knife fish would eat them. I have also been doing research on a giant gourami for about a year now, however i havent managed to find a red tailed one yet. Thanks so much for the suggestions please keep them coming !

PS i really enjoyed the vid

well i was talking to the op to be honest? just checked your vid, some real nice fish there and theres always a risk those aro could eat most of your stock!
