Hey guys,

I have a 72" x 21" x 18" setup. It's running a 4ft sump and also an Eheim 2250.

It's bare bottom and the only decoration is bogwood.

I like it this way for easy maintenance.

I've had it as a community tank for a while but have grown bored with the fish I'm keeping.

I need ideas on what to re-stock it with,

I'd like some fish with the "monster" element but obviously can't have things that grow too big. I'd like an interesting mix rather then just one species.

Any ideas/suggestions would be appreciated.

Cheers

Pete

I think that Osacr fish would be a good addition
you could fit 1 or 2 in there and they will eat anything
that fits into there mouths they only grow to about a foot
full length

Oscar is'nt a "true" monster, only a central american cichlid. A wolffish could fit in there.

yeah thanks for the suggestion but i'm not keen on oscars.

wolf fish, interesting idea. do they have to live solo?

I don't see how oscars aren't 'true monsters', but either way they are South American, not Central American.

I would go with some bay snook, very interesting predators with huge mouths
