I currently have a 135 gallon with a paratilapia polleni, 4 nimbochromis livingstonii, 1 Nandopsis Tetracanthus and a Lamprologus Tetracanthus. The livingstonii's and the Lamp. Tetracanthus have a future home already. The nandopsis is my wife's fish and I am growing him out and he will soon be moved to a single specimen tank. That leaves me with my pollenii i was going to sell him and get a few motas, or something similar however I am not comfortable shipping and my local offers want to house my Pollenii with midas etc that are twice the size so Ive decided to keep him.
Now I am going nuts trying to figure out what to keep him with.Id like to keep the pollenii as the centerpiece fish and I love the overall look of ca/sa's but do not want a huge aggressive fish. Im having trouble coming up with tankmates for him, I do not care for the tall bodied fish or giant nucahals. Ive kept ports before and enjoyed them I was just looking for a little more color as this tank is a focal point in my living room. I am beginning to think I may have to go with peacocks and haps Suggestions of ca/sa's to make an attractive looking tank are appreciated.
