Anything you are particularly interested in? Do you want there to be a specific centerpiece fish or just a general community?
I would look into smaller tetras as well as most livebearers as options. If you can get a gourami (not a kissing or giant) or pair of dwarf cichlids, that would be a good centerpiece.

i do not like livebearers. how would a three spot gourami be as a center piece and what else can be kept with it

Sounds like a nice dinner - probably not a good idea.

I would do smaller tetras like serpae or lemons, as well as Cory cats.
If you want to stick with an Asian theme, you can do loaches and larger rasboras/danios instead.

A pacu gets 24-36 inches, a red tailed cat gets even bigger. The only safe tankmates are fish near their size or larger, or much faster than them. It doesn’t help that both are insatiable vacuums.
