Stocking ideas

mmm i think personally the ones you chose are a bit too common, but if you like them that's all that matters. :)
what cichlids do you want? CA or SA? do you want other fish inside there too? are you looking to breed at all? large, medium or small in size? i could go on for hours. let us know what ideas you have in mind and i think you will get some more targeted answers... cuz right now i think your replies will be all over the place.

I was thinking of medium sized cichlid community or breeding large cichlids. First I was thinking discus but I want something more aggresive. I did want two jags but the people I talked to said that they needed at least a 125.

Lol, the jags would be fine in there man. They max out in the home aquarium at 16" total length and aren't like umbees where they need a lot of cruising room. Well, not the ones I've kept at least. Mine usually hovered over his rock and charged the glass when I got near. But a 120 should be fine for a pair.

can't keep too many very aggressive cichlids in anything but the largest of tanks.
just go with a pair of something you like. jags are really cool and highly recommend by me :D
a pair of GTs would be cool once they get size on them. maybe a pair of festae?

I would say a jag pair could work but not for very long. When adults I would say it's better to have a 6 footer rather than your 4 foot. Why not try some sort of Vieja species. The GT and JD pair work as well. The festae pair sounds awesome as well. For medium sized cichlids go for like Salvini, FM or Mixteco blue.
