i don't want a planted tank... i'm bored with the common fish you can stock an aquarium... I would like something more than just puting some tetras and etc...
the light of the aquarium is 15W so i don't think it would be good for a planted aquarium!
I like the shrimp suggestion. Not sure if you ever checked out any up close, but don't rule them out before seeing what they're like. I never looked at them at the LFS until seeing some recently, and I was really impressed with their beauty and how interesting they were to watch. I always thought they only got up to 1", but some get quite big and colorful. I would try a few shrimp and build the tank around them as far as fish. Likely a few cories if they would get along with the shrimp.
Another idea is a puffer tank, but I think they're pretty boring. Or possibly a larger freshwater cray tank? Crays are another interesting tank other than fish.
I was gonna say put some crayfish and bottom feeders in there with a few nice looking plants and rocks...
Or, how do you like guppies? i've had a 15g with guppies and there easy fish to take care of.
