I'm going to be picking up a 75g set up this weekend. :nilly: It will be my largest tank by far and I am super excited about it. The best thing that always comes along with a new tank is the fun you can have in stocking it. I'm just looking for ideas and suggestions to see what sort of combination I can come up with.

What I have now that will go in there:

2 Keyhole Cichlids
6 Serpae Tetra
1 ABN Pleco

I've been thinking about adding a trio of brightly colored swordtails but that's kind of the only thing I've come up with to add. Some cichlids that I am considering are oblongums, rainbows, curviceps, or even the typical rams or apistos. I like festivums as well but they aren't that differently colored from my keyholes. I have a thing for brown and "dull" colored fish for some reason. I'd like to lean towards CA/SA fish but I am still open to other suggestions.

I know this is MFK and these aren't Monsters but oh well. :p

Thanks for looking!

Threadfins are quite amazing but they won't really fit into my SA/CA thinking. A great suggestion nonetheless. A huge school in a 75g would be really sweet to see!

good luck stocking your tank, i just got mine, have a green terror hi fin pleco rainbow shark and a school of giant danios, ended up looking really good imo :)
